Hydraulic Engineer Leader

As part of the Water, Energy, and Maritime activity, the Technical Directorate is composed of a team of 150 people, spread over two main sites in Montpellier and Guyancourt.
We are looking for a confirmed engineer, responsible for production within the flood risk and water resource management team, a team of 20 engineers with a specific technical expertise in the hydraulic domain of the activity, specifically the realization of upstream studies.
Technical disciplines : Hydrological and hydraulic modeling, Flood Protection Master Plan, Flood Risk Reduction, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Flood Warning Systems, Emergency Plans, Hazard Studies, Water Resource Studies, Climate Change Adaptation.
Type of services : Upstream studies in France and internationally
Reporting to the Head of the Flood Risk and Water Resource Management Team within the Technical Directorate, your main missions are technical, commercial, and team management :
- Participation in responding to client expressions of interest and tender calls : Client information feedback, technical methodology writing, and service pricing, negotiations
- Technical production and team management of junior engineers and technicians
- Validation of technical contributions from your team or productions in the field, technical capitalization
- Presentation of deliverables to clients and technical exchanges with local agencies
- Organization of production and coordination with other Egis entities and partners (technical offices, experts)
- Reporting for project financial tracking
Preliminary travel expected on the French territory (including overseas) and internationally.
Requirements :
Holding a higher education degree (Bac+5), a school of engineering in hydraulics, you justify 10 years of experience in engineering, particularly in the aforementioned domains.
You justify, thanks to your experience, a knowledge of the French regulatory context : Public Procurement Code, MOP Law, and international : FIDIC…
Equipped with strong relational skills, you are able to appreciate and master multi-project environments, team work, especially remote, client and colleague relations within the Activity / BU / Group.
Competence in using hydraulic and hydrological software : HEC HMS, HEC RAS, 1D and 2D, INFOWORKS ICM, TELEMAC.
