Position Overview: The Senior Director of Supply Chain Risk Management is crucial in steering strategic initiatives that bolster ACUITY BRANDS LIGHTING, INC's growth, particularly through international expansion, new market penetration, and product innovation.
Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and is tasked with defining the strategic vision for the supply chain, crafting solutions that foster commercial growth, enhancing profit margins, and achieving essential business performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee sourcing and Integrated Business Planning teams, acting as a center of excellence for Supply Chain, providing strategic recommendations and collaborating with various departments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams during the initial phases of product development to identify and engage optimal suppliers, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and high-quality inputs for innovative designs.
- Participate in the design and execution of a global footprint strategy to facilitate international expansion.
- Lead the digital transformation of the supply chain, ensuring operational excellence through the adoption of best-in-class processes, systems, and tools that position the supply chain as a competitive advantage.
- Establish and maintain a robust framework for data collection, analysis, and reporting to guarantee data accuracy and integrity throughout the supply chain. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess and enhance supply chain performance.
- Support the company's ESG initiatives within the supply chain function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management roles, showcasing success in strategic sourcing, integrated business planning, and digital transformation efforts.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong data-driven approach to decision-making.
This role encompasses various areas including Supply Chain, Supply, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Sourcing, Sustainability, and Operations.
