We are part of Hitachi Astemo, a world-leading company in advanced mobility solutions. Our Brake Business Unit is one of the largest manufacturers of automotive braking solutions, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Bench and Tools Development Engineer - Apprentice.
About the RoleAs a Bench and Tools Development Engineer - Apprentice, you will be responsible for defining and developing the control software part of electromechanical brakes and electromechanical parking brakes. You will work closely with our engineering team to design and implement new software solutions, optimize existing software, and automate testing methods.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize software execution for testing
- Develop new actuators
- Automate testing methods
- Improve post-processing tools
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with a strong background in software development and a passion for working with electromechanical systems. You should have a good understanding of programming languages such as C, LabVIEW, and MATLAB Simulink. Additionally, you should be proficient in using tools such as Powershell and have a good understanding of electronic and electrical systems.
