As a leading innovator in the chemical sector, Socomore is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Germany. With over 50 years of history, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for surface preparation, treatment, protection, and control solutions.

We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in sales, preferably in the aerospace, automotive, or chemical sectors. Your role will be to manage your sales scope across the DACH zone (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and identify new customer opportunities in the equipment manufacturing and maintenance, repairs, and operations (MRO) segments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing your territory using CRM tools and market knowledge
  • Prospecting and identifying new customer opportunities
  • Identifying product application possibilities through technical and commercial analysis of customer needs
  • Strengthening existing activities and developing new opportunities with existing accounts
  • Presenting technical solutions with the support of our technical and marketing services
  • Developing good technical and commercial proposals for tenders and others, in accordance with our pricing policy
  • Performing product testing at customers, as required
  • Negotiating and concluding contracts with approval from your supervisor
  • Analyzing sales data and proposing business initiatives to implement to achieve defined objectives
  • Ensuring the quality of information delivered by you in Business and reporting tools

You will work closely with internal teams in Development, Channel, Marketing, R&D, etc. Domestic and international business travel is expected for approximately 70% of the time.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including health insurance, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Commercial position, preferably in the chemical, aeronautical, or automotive sector. You must also have real skills as a negotiator and developer, a global vision of the sector, and the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs.
