Smappee is a leading provider of energy management solutions, and we're looking for a talented Business Developer to join our team in Bordeaux. As a Business Developer, you'll play a crucial role in driving our company's growth and success by developing and maintaining relationships with customers in your region.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and develop new business opportunities in your area, presenting our innovative energy management solutions to potential customers.
- Analyze costs and benefits of potential customers to identify new sales prospects and negotiate deals.
- Develop a database of leads to maintain an overview of your sales pipeline.
- Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and concerns.
- Achieve planned sales targets and outcomes within the designated timeframe.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends and competitor activity.
- 2+ years of sales experience in a technical environment.
- A strong network of distributors and installers.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Perseverance and a proactive approach to sales.
- Ability to work independently in a flexible environment.
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, commercial mindset, and a passion for renewable energy.
- Proficiency in French and English.
