As a CPU Architect at Codasip, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge CPU design projects, collaborating with our IP team to develop next-generation architectures. Your primary focus will be on the Out-of-Order core project and memory subsystems. You will also contribute to the development of our proprietary CodAL language and work with our team to design and optimize CPU cores for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance CPU cores using RISC-V architecture
  • Collaborate with our IP team to develop next-generation architectures
  • Contribute to the development of our proprietary CodAL language
  • Work with our team to design and optimize CPU cores for our customers

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of modern CPU architectures and micro-architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Hardware Description Languages (HDLs) such as Verilog or SystemVerilog
  • Good knowledge of Out-of-Order core development and multicore cache coherence
  • Understanding of the CHI protocol
  • Sharp understanding of physical implications when designing at a higher level of abstraction
  • Skills to design and optimize a module around a given PPA point
  • Practical expertise in versioning tools such as git
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Tcl
  • Practical usage of Linux
  • Proficiency in digital design synthesis and implementation flow
