Join Our Team as a Scientific & Regulatory External Policies Leader

L'Oréal Research & Innovation (R&I) is a global leader in the beauty industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Scientific & Regulatory External Policies Leader.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented professional to lead our internal and external activities related to strategic policies and regulatory frameworks. As a Scientific & Regulatory External Policies Leader, you will engage with external and internal stakeholders, including industry partners, regulatory bodies, and governments to frame and deploy regulatory-driven policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure proper external regulatory management with stakeholders.
  • Represent L'Oréal Research and Innovation externally within trade association groups and international task forces to impactfully deploy key policy changes.
  • Formalize strategic policies and develop action plans collecting input from multiple competency areas on identified issues.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including expert scientists, regulatory authorities, industry associations, and external partners.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of the latest trends related to regulatory policies in scope.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in strong leadership to animate and lead cross-functional international teams.
  • Ability to engage externally and influence stakeholders and partners.
  • Strong scientific or regulatory background in cosmetics, chemicals, or other relevant fields.
  • Rigorousness, deep analysis, synthetic and clear communication, ability to cooperate and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • English speaker, with other foreign languages an asset.
  • At minimum, a master's degree in a relevant field with years of experience.
