We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Idemia, a leading provider of identity and security solutions. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products and services, particularly in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Risk Analysis: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential quality issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure that our products and services meet their needs.
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that they meet our quality standards.
- Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of quality experience in the automotive industry, preferably in project management.
- Education: Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, Control Plan, Capability, MSA), experience with APQP processes and PPAP documentation, mastery of problem-solving methods, and knowledge of IATF standards.
- Behavioral Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong customer focus, ability to thrive in a dynamic, international environment, flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities.
