Aventa is seeking a highly skilled Offshore Analysis Engineer to join its engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing numerical analysis using industry-standard software and contributing to the elaboration of design briefs and design basis documents.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform numerical analysis using Orcaflex and Uflex software
- Contribute to the development of design briefs and design basis documents
- Interpret results and develop design solutions in accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Produce design documentation, including feasibility reports and detailed in-place design reports
- Liaise with method engineers to support the development of installation procedures
- MSc or PhD in hydrodynamics, marine engineering, naval architecture, or renewable energies
- Relevant internships or work experience in the renewable marine energy and oil & gas industry
- Knowledge of FEA modeling and experience with cable and/or umbilical design
- Fluent English language skills
- Ability to work within time and budget constraints
- Experience in working in a multi-disciplined system engineering team
- Demonstrable ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
- Personal interest in analysis tools and development
