AgFunder is seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. As we expand our operations, your role will be critical in shaping the financial strategy of the company and driving financial planning.

The CFO will be responsible for managing investor relationships, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring the company's financial infrastructure is scalable and efficient. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in high-growth companies, preferably in biotech or a related field, and a deep understanding of financial operations, capital raising, and scaling businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and lead the company's financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  2. Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and stakeholders, and prepare and present financial data to the board and investors.
  3. Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, analysis, and controls.
  4. Optimize financial operations and processes to support the company's growth, including accounting, auditing, cash flow, and tax compliance.
  5. Identify and mitigate financial risks, including those related to cash flow, regulatory compliance, and international operations.
  6. Lead future fundraising efforts, including equity financing, debt management, and grant opportunities.
  7. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and requirements, including audits and tax filings.
  8. Lead legal, regulatory, commercial, and financial contracting.
