Job Title: Professional Family Assistants Referrer
The Department of Haute-Savoie is seeking a highly skilled Professional Family Support Specialist to join their team and contribute to the mission of family support on the department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in meetings to inform and support Family Assistants in their roles
- Collaborate with Public Health Services in candidate assessments and evaluations
- Provide in-depth analysis and decision support in the recruitment process for Family Assistants
- Organize comprehensive training programs for new Family Assistants
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to Family Assistants throughout their training and professional development
- Contribute to the development of training projects and professional support initiatives
- Ensure high-quality professional support for each Family Assistant
- Review and develop care plans with Family Assistants to ensure optimal support for families
- Coordinate with other departments to assess child placements and ensure the best possible outcomes
- Collaborate on projects within the department to improve family support services
- Develop strategic partnerships with organizations in the field of Child Protection
Required Skills and Qualities:
- Strong knowledge of child protection systems and policies
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills to provide in-depth analysis and decision support
- Strong writing and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
- Experience in child welfare and family support services
Desirable Qualities:
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with Family Assistants and other stakeholders
- High level of diligence and availability to meet the demands of the role
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills to build strong relationships with Family Assistants and families
