Job Summary

As the Sales Manager for the southeastern region of France, you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and expanding a client base that is crucial for the company's revenue and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Setting Commercial Objectives

Collaborate with the Group Sales & Marketing teams to define target sectors and companies for business growth. Gather and centralize market intelligence to enhance our commercial strategies.

Develop effective sales approaches, including telephone outreach and distribution of marketing materials.

Conduct competitive analysis to inform strategies for increasing market share and driving business growth.

Sales Prospecting Activities

Identify key decision-makers within targeted organizations.

Execute sales outreach and follow up with potential clients.

Respond to inquiries and proposals from prospects.

Tailor and present our commercial offerings to meet the specific needs of prospective clients.

Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely responses to client requests.

Provide pricing and cost analysis as required.

Oversee and enhance various sales channels (Direct Sales, Distribution, etc.) to maximize order volume in your region.

Negotiation and Closing

Advise clients on the technical specifications of products that best suit their requirements.

Negotiate terms, finalize contracts, and ensure compliance with the company's pricing strategies and margin expectations.

Account Management and Development

Enhance revenue from existing clients while identifying new opportunities for growth.

Maintain regular communication to assess and respond to client needs.

Address any commercial or technical inquiries related to our offerings.

Manage your territory effectively to optimize sales performance.

Ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

Monitor client satisfaction with after-sales support and operational processes.

Administrative Coordination Reporting and Analysis Commitment to EH&S and Continuous Improvement

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in a technical or commercial field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role focused on technical product sales

• Familiarity with agri-food, environmental, oil, and gas sectors is advantageous

• Proficiency in English and French

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Travel within the designated commercial area is anticipated.
