Planning and Scheduling Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Safran Data Systems. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the Master Planner to establish the Production Master Schedule
- Analyzing production requirements and handling exceptions from the ERP system
- Planning and scheduling production activities for various product levels, considering workshop capacity and component availability
- Monitoring production progress, managing priorities, and alerting in case of deviations
- Coordinating with the Production Manager for scheduling validation/correction and launch of Production Orders
- Streamlining preparation workload and tracking progress
- Coordinating subcontracting flows with Production and Procurement teams
- Analyzing technical evolution requests and planning accordingly
- Updating management data parameters and verifying technical data existence
- Handling Work Orders from Development teams, considering procurement deadlines and workshop load
- Performing shortage analysis and progress tracking for Projects or Management requests
- Scheduling/coordination of kitting and shipping activities, especially for Satellite Communication and Situational Awareness Products line
- Coordinating with the Logistics team for rotating inventories, data entry, and variance analysis
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Production Management or Logistics, with experience in industrial environments, especially in scheduling and production planning. Proficient in MRP2 principles, comfortable with Excel and ERP systems (preferably M3).
Additional Information:
Occasional travel to other Safran Data Systems sites may be required.
