Position Overview: Within the BigData & Security (BDS) division, we are seeking a Product Compliance and Certification Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring that our server components meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements. You will collaborate closely with the product quality and reliability team in the R&D Server Design department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside mechanical and electronic R&D teams to verify that components are compliant with applicable safety and EMC standards during the design and testing phases.
- Manage relationships with testing laboratories, assisting project managers in organizing test campaigns for completed products and consolidating test reports.
- Proactively identify alternatives for non-compliant components during testing and provide insights on international standards.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of test reports, certificates, and self-declarations for servers developed by Atos, ensuring compliance for targeted markets.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support R&D teams in adhering to European directives such as Ecodesign and Accessibility.
- Oversee the management of certifications in accordance with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., RoHS, REACH).
- Collaborate with the management team to define strategies for documenting normative information in the data archiving tool.
- Implement necessary tools to enhance compliance processes.
Qualifications:
- A degree in electronic engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in electric/electronic R&D, particularly in product certification standards.
- Familiarity with electronic components, including power supplies and converters.
- Knowledge of EMC and Safety standards, such as IEC 62368 and 61010.
- Experience with testing activities for electric/electronic products.
- Understanding of certification processes for servers and computers is advantageous.
- Awareness of environmental regulations concerning hazardous substances is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with effective communication abilities to interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in technical and regulatory English.
