About the Role
In this role, you will report functionally to the Quality Head in Paris and operationally to the Project Manager. You will be tasked with establishing and overseeing the Project Quality Management system, ensuring proactive quality support to the Project team to fulfill Client and quality expectations in alignment with the Project Quality strategy.
Depending on the project's scale, you may oversee Quality Managers and Engineers throughout all project phases and areas.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Engaging proactively with the Project Management team to implement an effective Project Quality Management System at head office, vendor facilities, sites, and other centers involved in project execution according to project standards and client expectations.
- Leading, developing, and executing project-wide system audits and quality plans as approved by the line manager.
- Maintaining strong relationships with Client quality representatives to report on progress and address inquiries and issues.
- Fostering a culture of Quality on the project/site, ensuring the application of best practices and continuous enhancement of quality standards and systems.
- Actively participating in risk assessment workshops throughout the project.
- Implementing an effective corrective and preventive action system and monitoring the resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and waiver requests.
- Assisting in defining project objectives and metrics (KPI), analyzing performance, and proposing corrective actions.
- Leading or participating in investigations to resolve quality issues, conducting root cause analyses, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring their effective execution.
- Coordinating a functional quality network among operating units on the project to ensure alignment.
- Facilitating the Lessons Learned and Feedback process throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the implementation of lessons learned and the communication of feedback and best practices.
- Assisting discipline teams in developing and approving project procedures, including the Discipline Quality Plan.
- Providing quality training and awareness on planned quality activities for the project.
- Ensuring proper implementation of a criticality rating system and surveillance for procured items.
- Ensuring that a system is in place to utilize only approved suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensuring that Client Satisfaction Surveys are conducted as scheduled.
- Assisting in defining project objectives and metrics (KPI), ensuring reporting is established, analyzing performance, proposing corrective or improvement actions, and reporting findings.
- May assist in developing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and reviewing site procedures and Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
- You are a technician or graduate engineer specializing in Quality / Quality Control Management, with significant experience in industrial projects encompassing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
- You have experience as a Project Quality Manager, particularly in Yards and Construction sites.
- You hold an ISO 9001:2015 Auditor certification.
- You possess knowledge and experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- You have experience within a formal Management System and in people management.
- You exhibit team spirit and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- You are fluent in English (knowledge of French is a plus).
