**Job Summary**

At Stokomani, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our sales team as an Alternate Store Assistant. This is a 2-year apprenticeship opportunity that will provide you with hands-on experience in a retail environment and equip you with the skills necessary to succeed in a management role.

**Responsibilities**

  • Participate in daily stock replenishment and ensure that shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing.
  • Prepare merchandise for display, including folding, hanging, and pricing.
  • Process customer transactions and handle cash and credit sales.
  • Assist with store maintenance and organization, including cleaning and tidying up the sales floor.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries.

  • Management and leadership: You will work closely with the store manager to develop and implement sales strategies and manage a team of sales associates.
  • Product knowledge: You will gain in-depth knowledge of our products and be able to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Operations: You will be responsible for ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently, including managing inventory and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

**Requirements**

  • Currently enrolled in a higher education program (Bac +2 level) in a field related to commerce or management.
  • Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
