Project Overview
The African Union's African Road Safety Observatory (ARSO) project aims to improve road safety in Africa through data-driven decision making. As a Key Expert 3 - Road Safety Expert, you will play a crucial role in supporting the ARSO work program and contributing to the production of better data and evidence.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including reports, presentations, and other materials.
- Liaise with EU, WHO, and other regional observatories to collect and analyze road safety-related data, and contribute to the development of evidence-based publications.
Requirements
- Master's degree in public health, engineering, or a relevant field; or equivalent professional experience of at least 7 years.
- Strong knowledge of remote-work collaborative tools and experience working with international teams.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the African Union or similar international organizations.
- Proficiency in English (C1 level) and French (B1 level); knowledge of other African languages is an asset.
