Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wellness Attendant to join our team at The Rimrock. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for creating a comfortable and relaxing experience for our guests in the pool and fitness areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the change rooms, pool, sauna, squash court, fitness room, and Spa deck at all times.
- Fold and store clean towels in designated areas.
- Provide clean towels to guests and collect soiled towels for laundry.
- Replenish amenities and supplies as needed.
- Remove garbage and recycling from the pool and fitness areas.
- Assist guests with general gym facilities and ensure proper storage of equipment.
- Help maintain the safety of the pool area by keeping floors clean and dry.
- Sweep the floors of the fitness room, squash court, and change rooms as needed.
- Set up and tear down the Spa deck daily, ensuring cleanliness throughout the day.
- Report any health and safety concerns or equipment issues to Spa Leadership.
- Assist the Spa Concierge team as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Intermediate-level verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- High standards for cleanliness and attention to detail.
- CPR and 1st Aid training is an asset.
- Ability to stand and walk repeatedly throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 22 pounds / 10 kg.
- Comfortable working in a damp, humid, and sometimes hot environment.
