About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Welding Engineer to join our Quality team at Arabelle Solutions. As a Welding Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers' welding processes and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and comment on supplier documentation related to welding to ensure that contractual requirements are met.
- Provide technical expertise to support our Quality teams and projects across various product lines, including turbines, alternators, pumps, pressure vessels, BoP, MSD, A&C, Services, and Naval.
- Communicate and support in your area of expertise both internally and externally (clients, suppliers, local authorities, regulatory bodies, etc.) as needed to ensure the achievement of objectives.
- Ensure internal training related to welding.
- Participate in supplier qualification.
- Write and update internal specifications related to welding applicable to our suppliers.
- Continuously eliminate non-value-added activities while ensuring the quality level expected in nuclear projects.
- Participate in and organize root cause analysis of significant non-conformities detected in our suppliers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the organization.
- Ensure harmonization of practices between purchased products and those manufactured internally.
- Coach and develop our internal resources.
- Conduct training sessions.
- Ensure that experience feedback is taken into account to avoid repeating past mistakes.
- Communicate effectively within the company at various levels of the organization. Reporting to top management.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent.
- International Welding Engineer (IWE) or International Welding Technician (IWT) diploma.
- Experience in the welding field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- English mandatory.
- Ability to manage stress.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in the nuclear field.
- Ability to analyze, synthesize, and resolve problems efficiently.
- Ability to manage improvement projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Transversal management capabilities.
