We are on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic Information Security Analyst to enhance our vibrant team. The Information Security Analyst will play a pivotal role within the IT department, focusing on the development, implementation, and upkeep of security protocols to safeguard Forsee Power's computing systems, networks, and sensitive data. This position is essential for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcing security policies and protocols
- Detecting security breaches and inefficiencies through regular audits
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to uncover potential security weaknesses
- Establishing and sustaining security controls and measures
- Improving existing security frameworks using tools such as password protection, network firewalls, antivirus software, and SIEM/SOC solutions
- Monitoring systems, servers, and networks for potential intrusions
- Addressing data breaches and malware incidents
- Identifying and rectifying both potential and existing security challenges
- Simulating data loss scenarios to assess the effectiveness of current recovery strategies
- Formulating plans and procedures for data backup and recovery
- Raising awareness among employees regarding security and data protection
- Keeping technical knowledge up-to-date through participation in training workshops
- Contributing to team objectives by achieving related outcomes as necessary

Profile- Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of proven experience as an Information Security Analyst, IT Security Specialist, or in a similar capacity.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT principles, including network architecture, protocols, identity and access management, security configurations, cryptography, and the system development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with general and security technologies, standards, and concepts such as network design, endpoint and server security, and cryptography.
- Proficient in virtual private networks, firewalls, TCP/IP protocols, authentication systems, and Microsoft solutions (AD, WSUS).
- Experience with operating systems (Windows and Linux).
- Hands-on experience in analyzing extensive logs, network data, and cyberattack artifacts.
- Basic understanding of cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS) and penetration testing activities.
- Knowledge of security-related legislation (GDPR) and its implications.
- Awareness of the company's business imperatives when devising solutions.
- Fluency in both French and English (oral and written).
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Security, or equivalent experience is preferred.
