Job Summary
The Reporting Standards Center of Excellence at SCOR is an internal advisory team responsible for producing and owning content related to accounting standards in annual and interim reports. They review external disclosures to ensure statutory compliance of financial publications and prepare Group Executive Committee and Group Audit Committee presentations on large complex accounting transactions and external reporting.
Key Responsibilities
The Insurance Reporting Analyst will be in charge of accounting analysis and preparation of SCOR accounting policies and position papers. They will also participate in solving IFRS accounting questions and issues through thorough fact-finding, research on technical aspects, and applying existing SCOR accounting guidance.
Required Experience & Competencies
Experience:
- Industry knowledge of (re)insurance business, particularly P&C business
- Very good knowledge of IFRS 17
- Experience in auditing and analyzing consolidated financial statements
- 5-7 years of working in a Big 4 and/or similar experience in industry (reinsurance industry preferably, with expertise in P&C business)

- Excellent analytical skills
- Team player, collaborative
- Issue resolution skills/solution-oriented
- Excellent English and French required (reports/discussions in both languages)

Digital Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and workplace tools
Required Education:
- University degree, business school, or other "Bac+5" equivalent
