Job DescriptionRole Purpose:In this critical position, you will oversee claims activities within our outsourced partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory, conduct, and commercial best practices standards while meeting contractual performance targets through regular reporting and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the oversight of claims activities within our outsourced partners, ensuring regulatory, conduct, commercial best practices standards and contractual performance targets are met via regular reporting and meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with core TPAs, assistance services, Mobile phone Insurance, and fulfilment Claims Service Providers across all product lines, actively seeking feedback to continuously improve performance.
- Collaborate with Claims Managers to ensure Claims Service Provider arrangements align with contractual terms and comply with regulatory guidelines.
- Drive new initiatives and projects with Claims Service Providers to enhance service delivery and cost control.
- Provide guidance to Claims and Business Managers in selecting and implementing new Claims Service Providers in line with Outsourcing Guidelines.
- Work with the Claims Vendor Management team to develop best practices and controls for managing Claims Service Providers across the region.
- Interact closely with clients and manage performance of accounts with detailed reviews of performance metrics and KPIs.
- Implement performance management frameworks to monitor and benchmark Claims Service Provider performance and drive improvements in technical and service standards as well as presenting performance as required.
- Promote the benefits of our preferred service providers to internal stakeholders, brokers, and clients to maximize business acquisition and retention.
- Support the growth plans of our Consumer lines business and contribute to implementing new programs.
- Hold or studying towards insurance (academic) degrees or equivalent qualifications demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
- Possess a Project Management qualification such as Prince 2, and a desirable background in Change Management.
- Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification is a plus.
- Fluent in both written and verbal English and French enabling effective communication across our diverse markets.
- Proficiency in MS office applications especially excel and MS Teams are necessary. Knowledge of data reporting suites like Qlik Sense or Power Bi is also beneficial.

- Demonstrate experience in account management and managing vendors across a diverse portfolio in Personal Lines and Commercial P&C within an insurance company.
- Excellent collaboration skills and experience in navigating multiple reporting lines and working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is an advantage.
- Demonstrate experience in managing important customer relationships and partners preferably in the insurance environment with knowledge in Personal lines, Home & Contents, Accident and Health, Mobile phone insurance, Travel insurance products as well as supply chain repair and restoration management is desired.
- Show a deep understanding of vendor management processes within the insurance industry.
- Have a proven track record in claims management and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Possess strong analytical skills capable of leveraging data and market insights to control costs and provide valuable insight and recommendations.
- Successfully negotiate contracts and implement performance management frameworks.
- Proven experience in project management driving successful outcomes and managing stakeholders.
- Proficient in marketing and promoting services utilizing marketing collateral to support business acquisition and retention.
