Overview of the Role
At Worldline, our digital infrastructure is the backbone of our offerings, enabling seamless transactions and innovative payment solutions. Within our Technology and Operations divisions, Group Security plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our operations.
Reporting directly to the head of Group Security GRC, the Security Incident Officer is responsible for overseeing the execution of security incident management protocols, leveraging insights gained from previous incidents. This role also involves supporting significant incident management activities associated with cybersecurity threats.
The ideal candidate will engage daily with Security Officers and the Worldline Security Incident Response Team, aiding the Group Security Organization in orchestrating collaborative efforts across various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Document and manage the security incident management process, ensuring compliance with reporting obligations. Regularly engage with the security community, offering guidance and support to Security Governance, Security Officers, PCI officers, Cyber Defense Center (CSIRT), and other Subject Matter Experts. Monitor security incidents and track improvement initiatives in collaboration with Security Officers. Provide updates on security incidents to Group leadership, ensuring clarity and adherence to reporting requirements. Supervise the emergency patching process for critical vulnerabilities. Organize and define regular testing of incident response procedures with security and operational teams, enhancing awareness and providing training for managing significant cyber events. Actively participate in the management of Major Security Incidents across Worldline, focusing on coordination, reporting, and communication. Review and assess on-duty activities within the Security domain.Candidate Profile
Exceptional communication skills with a strong command of spoken and written English. Technical expertise with a solid grasp of security principles and their practical applications. A proactive approach to enhancing security processes and implementing best practices to elevate security awareness and measures. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adapting to shifting priorities and interaction styles. Capacity to perform under pressure and navigate ambiguous situations. Proficiency in security concepts and best practices related to incident management, threat, and vulnerability management. Capability to engage with technical teams and deliver accurate, tailored reports to management. Skilled in managing multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment to ensure timely resolution of high-priority tasks. Eagerness to learn, develop, and advance professionally.
