NES Fircroft is partnering with a major EPC Design contractor to fill a Lead HSE Engineer (Process Safety) position in Paris, France.
Job Purpose:Coordinate and supervise the execution of loss prevention engineering for client projects. Lead process and safety studies to provide advice on risk reduction measures.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with EPC Contractor, Operation support, and Project Disciplines to conduct process risk studies.
- Ensure compliance with client HSE Standards, AGES requirements, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement loss prevention procedural and policy documentation.
- Review and comment on loss prevention documentation for site inspections and audits.
- Ensure the implementation of emergency response planning requirements.
- Review and endorse emergency response plans for client facilities.
- Participate in technical safety reviews, risk assessments, and hazard operability studies.
- Ensure the implementation of loss prevention close-out registers.
- Review and organize specialist support for sites on remedial action plans.
- Monitor and participate in HAZOPs and technical safety reviews.
- 12 years of experience, including 5 years with EPC organizations related to LNG and Oil & Gas projects.
- 2 years in a similar position.
- Experience in liquefaction and fractionation of natural gas (LNG).
- Experience in integrating nitrogen rejection units, fuel gas systems, air cooling systems, and instrument/plant air systems.
- EPC experience in large LNG plants.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent.
