About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ergonomics Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our project/offer development team, you will apply internal procedures, instructions, and guidelines to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ergonomics simulations using Catia V5, Human Builder, and Human Posture Analysis to inform tender and project development.
  • Perform heuristic assessments of display interfaces to ensure user-centered design.
  • Conduct human factors studies to assess workload and risk, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Calculate anthropometric data and design seat dimensions to ensure optimal user experience.
  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret REX results to inform project decisions.
  • Contribute to R&D activities under the coordination of our Core Competence Network.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in ergonomics field.
  • Strong knowledge of methodologies for ergonomics, including task analysis, questionnaire definition, and manikin definition.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Catia V5, DMA, Human Builder, and Human Posture Analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Advanced level of English, with conversational, writing, and reading skills.
  • French conversational, writing, and reading skills are preferred.
