Responsibilities:
As an Asset Management Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include delivering logistics support to ensure swift resolution of supply chain challenges, thereby minimizing operational interruptions. Your role will require effective management of various stakeholders within Rolls-Royce, our clients, and external partners.
You will report to the Customer Service & Operations Manager and provide essential Supply Chain Support for the Trent 700 MRTT Mission Care contract.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing spare parts ordering and tracking through established procurement processes.
- Coordinating customer demand fulfillment, from order placement to material allocation (new and/or repaired), parts distribution, handling material returns and repairs, and ultimately ensuring timely delivery to the customer.
- Acting as the customer advocate for parts availability reporting, assessing and understanding the impact on contracts. Engaging relevant supply chain resources to resolve issues through prioritization and escalation to meet customer requirements.
- Overseeing the movement of materials for repair to ensure asset flow aligns with repair schedules and maintains stock availability, providing status updates to key clients.
- Collaborating with the Customer Support Team to explore internal and external solutions for repaired, used, and new materials to address supply challenges while balancing cost, performance, and delivery metrics.
- Receiving and processing customer consumption reports to ensure accurate asset usage tracking and reporting.
- Coordinating with customers to ensure documentation is prepared for asset receipt and dispatch.
- Ensuring compliance with Export Control measures in line with Rolls-Royce Defence policies.
- Managing the repair and disposal of equipment and assets in accordance with contract requirements and policies.
- Providing weekly and monthly reports on logistics and spare parts availability status.
This position is open exclusively to French Nationals eligible for French Security Clearance.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Parts Stores planning and management.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain Units and Customer-Facing Business Units.
- Background in Engineering/Operations, Logistics, or Purchasing.
- Technical knowledge of Rolls-Royce products.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain Planning & Control ERP processes and systems, particularly SAP.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build virtual teams and influence decisions.
- Capability to obtain French security clearance.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and listening).
