Financial Director

Are you looking for a challenging role in which you can make a real impact on the financial performance of DFDS France? As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, working closely with the Regional Finance Director and the Finance Shared Service Centre in Poznan, Poland. Your expertise in IFRS and French GAAP will be essential in preparing financial reports that meet the highest standards.

About the role

As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing financial reports in accordance with IFRS and French GAAP
• Supporting the Finance Shared Service Centre in Poznan, Poland in ensuring timely and high-quality monthly reporting
• Building effective cross-team cooperation with business finance and operations to assist with financial decision-making
• Ensuring statutory reporting and supporting on taxation/VAT matters
• Optimizing processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with group policies and French regulation

About you

We are looking for an analytical individual with a problem-solving mindset, driven by change. You should have a solid understanding of accounting principles under IFRS and French GAAP, as well as experience in an international environment. Fluency in French and English is essential.
