We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operation Specialist to join our team at KION Group. As an Operation Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the flow of operations on site, providing direction and guidance to team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Flow Control and Monitoring: Monitor, interpret, evaluate, prioritize, and instruct on operational flow controlling activity on site.
- Team Management: Provide operational person management for a small team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Health and Safety: Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times and promote a positive H&S culture.
- KPI Focus: Maintain a KPI-focused mentality, striving to overachieve targets and improve processes.
- Equipment Support: Provide first-line support to all equipment in scope of the Dematic contract, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Product Flow: Maintain product flow at all times, prioritizing tasks and managing resources effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Provide basic fault resolution and contribute to complex faults alongside the engineering team.
- Maintenance and Breakdown Support: Assist the engineering team in maintenance and breakdown situations as required.
- Leadership and Role Modeling: Act as a role model for the rest of the flow controlling team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality and Accuracy: Ensure the quality of output at all times, accurately recording all work undertaken.
- Continuous Improvement: Involvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunities, driving business growth and development.
- Customer Relations: Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Basic Key-Skills and IT Competency: Possess basic key-skills and basic IT competency.
- SafePass and CSCS Card: Hold a SafePass and CSCS Card (desirable).
- Automated Systems Experience: Have previous experience/knowledge of automated systems, warehouse or production environment.
- Working at Height Experience: Possess working at height experience (desirable).
- Safe Working Culture: Demonstrate a history of safe working and contribution towards a positive working culture.
