As a Data Analyst - Tax Policy Specialist at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), you will play a key role in supporting the work of the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration (CTPA). The CTPA is the focal point for the OECD's work on all taxation issues, both international and domestic. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the production and publication of statistical outputs related to tax. This includes working with various stakeholders to collect, verify and process countries' revenue data, as well as maintaining and updating the Global Revenue Statistics database.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced university degree in statistics, economics, econometrics or a related subject, and at least two years' experience in the area of tax statistics. You should also have expertise in the concepts, classifications and methodology used in tax statistics, as well as knowledge of domestic resource mobilisation in developing countries. Excellent Excel and Visual Basic skills are essential, as well as experience with other statistical tools such as SPSS, Stata or other packages.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, including the Global Revenue Statistics initiative and Taxing Wages. You will also contribute to capacity building activities focused on improving the collection and use of harmonised revenue data.
