Deputy Project Manager for Operations within its International
Division.
As we broaden our Project Management Office for global
initiatives, the Deputy Project Manager will engage
in:
* ensuring the proper implementation of the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment
(QSSE) policies of the PONTICELLI Frères Group within their scope;
* upholding the company's contractual obligations to clients, service providers, and subcontractors;
* meeting the performance and profitability targets set by the
PONTICELLI Frères Group.
Main Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Prepare project proposals in alignment with management;
- Participate in contract or order evaluations;
responsible parties;
- Assess project profitability, item by item, throughout the construction phase and take corrective actions as necessary;
- Communicate any technical or progress discrepancies to the Project
- Approve, submit, and secure client approval for additional work
- Facilitate customer invoicing in collaboration with the project manager;
- Assist the Project Manager in reporting project status to management (safety, quality, cost, scheduling);
Project Execution
- Engage in meetings with clients and internal stakeholders;
- Oversee work preparation;
- Lead supervision meetings;
- Communicate project objectives (safety, quality, cost, timeline);
- Evaluate physical progress, ensure adherence to the schedule, and recommend corrective measures in case of deviations;
- Identify and confirm requirements for personnel, equipment, subcontracting, and procurement;
- Draft tenders and purchase orders;
- Recommend subcontractors;
- Supervise subcontracting activities;
- Monitor purchase orders from subcontractors and suppliers and validate invoicing;
- Ensure technical and administrative accuracy of documentation;
- Ensure resolution of any reservations and final acceptance;
- Participate in project feedback sessions;
- Conduct supplier evaluations at project completion;
- Prepare the final project report.
