Bicycle Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bicycle Mechanic to join our team at La Cordée. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality of work.

• Provide excellent customer service, greeting clients with a smile and ensuring their needs are met.
• Assemble, maintain, and repair bicycles for clients and in-store, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
• During the winter season, install ski bindings and perform ski maintenance and repairs, following manufacturer guidelines.
• Process transactions using our computer system and place orders using our ordering software.
• Participate in various marketing initiatives as needed, depending on the season and business requirements.

• Secondary education.
• DES diploma.
• Completed status.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency in French.
• Intermediate proficiency in English (important for our Anglophone clientele).

• Extensive knowledge of bicycle mechanics and the cycling industry (bikes, components, accessories).
• General knowledge of skiing (ski maintenance, binding installation, waxing), a plus.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• High level of autonomy.
• Regular cycling practice.
• Bilingualism (French and English).
