Position Overview: Psychologist at IME Jean-Paul
The IME Jean-Paul caters to 62 children and adolescents who are blind or severely visually impaired, aged 6 to 20, and who may have additional disabilities, providing both day schooling and weekly boarding options.
In your role as a psychologist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes medical, paramedical, educational, and pedagogical professionals to create, implement, and regularly update individualized support plans for each child at the IME, adhering to the best practice guidelines established by HAS.
Your duties will encompass designing and executing therapeutic interventions, offering tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of individuals, conducting psychometric evaluations, and facilitating cooperation among various professionals involved in the support of each child.
Key responsibilities include performing ongoing assessments, engaging in team support meetings, and embodying the principles of inclusion and the human resources policies of the organization.
Candidate Profile:
- Master's degree in Psychology
- Proficient in psychometric testing and possess strong writing capabilities
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
- Effective communication and public speaking abilities
- Competent in standard office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
