Position Overview
This role is part of the Earth Observation division and encompasses the following responsibilities:
- Monitoring market dynamics within the commercial Earth Observation sector to aid in the development of comprehensive databases: satellites, contracts, companies, funding initiatives, etc.
- Producing Market Intelligence reports that analyze Earth Observation demand across diverse industries (such as agriculture, defense, maritime, finance, etc.), geographical regions, and payload types (including Optical, SAR, hyperspectral, AIS, IoT, etc.), along with a thorough analysis of the global industrial ecosystem (strategic market approaches, value chain assessments, satellite benchmarking, etc.).
- Engaging in consulting projects that involve strategic market evaluations, business case analyses, due diligence, and socio-economic impact assessments.
- Participating in international conferences pertinent to the Earth Observation field.
Required Qualifications & Experience
A Master's degree or equivalent in fields such as geography, economics, finance, or engineering.
- A minimum of 1 to 5 years of experience in the space industry is essential, with existing knowledge in Space Applications (e.g., Earth Observation, Remote Sensing, Navigation, or IoT).
- Strong analytical capabilities with a proven track record in evaluating economic and industry trends; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Language proficiency: fluency in English is essential (both spoken and written). Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Personal attributes: ability to thrive in an international and multicultural setting; capacity to work autonomously; collaborative team player; adherence to corporate values; high level of commitment; and ability to deliver exceptional results for the organization and its clients.
