Job Title: Maintenance Director

As a key member of our team, the Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all production facilities, processes, and premises. This includes developing and leading the maintenance team and implementing an automated maintenance management system to improve site performance and reduce maintenance costs.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree in a recognized discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical maintenance, preferably in a comparable industry. They will also have experience in people management and be fluent in French and English.

The Maintenance Director will be responsible for:

  1. Managing the maintenance and repair of all production facilities, processes, and premises.
  2. Developing and leading the maintenance team and implementing an automated maintenance management system.
  3. Carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance.
  4. Supporting the installation of new equipment and projects.
  5. Ensuring the documentation of all repairs in the maintenance management system.
  6. Analyzing the causes of non-compliant results and implementing corrective and preventive action.
  7. Participating in customer audits and technical reviews.
  8. Complying with all applicable procedures, laws, and regulations.
  9. Monitoring and optimizing site energy consumption.
  10. Participating in the continuous improvement program and Group industrial projects.
  11. Applying and enforcing safety rules and promoting the Boortmalt safety culture.
  12. Ensuring on-call duty.
Requirements:
  1. Technical degree in a recognized discipline.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in technical maintenance.
  3. Experience in people management.
  4. Fluency in French and English.
  5. Good IT skills, including Office 365, AutoCAD, Maximo, and ERP systems.
