Join Our Team as a Market Risk Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Analyst to join our Global Risk Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and advising on market risk for the GEMS Business Unit of ENGIE and its regulated entity EGM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the board of directors, highlighting emerging risks and areas of concern.
  • Develop, enhance, and validate risk models, systems, and processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Quant Risk & Front Office as well as IT teams to integrate digital solutions seamlessly into our operations.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to market risk using data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel & Python.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in finance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions about market risk exposures.
  • Understanding of risk models and quantitative techniques used for market risk measurement and validation, including VaR (Value at Risk) and stress testing methodologies.
