We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Lawyer to join our Regulatory Legal team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will provide regulatory guidance to PayPal Europe and interpret and advise on enforcement of European laws and regulations relating to payments, digital services, consumer protection, anti-money laundering, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide regulatory guidance to PayPal Europe on compliance with European laws and regulations.
- Interpret and advise on enforcement of European laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management and regulators to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Draft legal documents in clear and plain English.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Perfect English is a necessity, and other European languages may be useful.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in regulatory compliance and legal advisory roles.
