Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in scaling up our depolymerization process from laboratory-scale to pre-industrial scale. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities- Leading the analysis and studies for pilot and plant designs and sizings using advanced simulation tools.
- Building thermodynamic models of the entire process and designing PFDs and P&IDs.
- Collaborating with the research team to optimize catalysts, reaction conditions, and purification processes.
- Managing the scale-up of the process, including plant design and equipment sizing for pilot and pre-industrial scale.
- Planning and executing experiments to build the flow sheet of the process.
- Guiding the team to perform required measurements and optimizing process conditions.
- PhD or MSc in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment or engineering company scaling chemical processes from lab to industrial scale.
- Strong knowledge of industrial environments and processes, as well as state-of-the-art technology and apparatus.
- Expertise in process simulation tools, such as ASPEN and Matlab.
- Proven experience in flow sheet building and PFDs and P&IDs building.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and adapt to new challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrates scientific rigor and meticulous attention to detail.
- Shows adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Possesses humility and openness to growth.
