Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Director Assistant to join our team at EVEN, a leading cooperative group in the food distribution industry. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Pilot the logistics strategy for our profit center, driving growth and optimization through effective planning, coordination, and execution.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics plan, including strategic objectives, action plans, and performance metrics.
- Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to minimize costs, reduce carbon footprint, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure logistics operations are running efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations with other business functions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures, including quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth and improvement.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation management, warehousing, and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
