The Chambre d'Agriculture plays a pivotal role in facilitating the agricultural sector's adaptation to economic, social, and environmental challenges.
Become a part of a dedicated team of 45 livestock advisors at the Chambre d'Agriculture de Bretagne.
Within this team, three specialists focus on livestock buildings and equipment, offering technical and economic insights, supporting livestock producers, and engaging in initiatives aimed at addressing climate change, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, labor conditions, and animal welfare.
- Livestock Building and Equipment Specialist (85% workload)
- Assist in developing technical references concerning livestock buildings and equipment
- Share knowledge and best practices with livestock producers
- Engage in regional committees focused on building standards
- Provide expert advice on construction projects
- Contribute to educational programs
- Support colleagues with specialized knowledge in building and equipment
- Building Consultant (15% workload)
- Advise on innovative construction projects
- Design forward-thinking agricultural buildings
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in designing agricultural buildings
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies
- Familiarity with dairy farming practices
- Excellent communication and writing abilities
- Proficient in computer applications
- Ability to teach and train others
- Strong teamwork, organizational skills, and initiative
- Good listening and interpersonal skills
Employment Conditions:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Location: Vannes with travel requirements
- Salary range: 28 K€ to 41 K€ annually
