IT Infrastructure Manager

Ligentec SA is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and virtualization. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring our IT systems, performing routine maintenance and updates, and implementing security measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and monitoring our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security
- Performing routine maintenance and updates on servers and network devices
- Implementing and managing security measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities
- Managing virtual machines and ensuring efficient resource use
- Administering and supporting specialized production software
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Ensuring regular data backups and enforcing security procedures
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and virtualization
- Experience in IT security, threat detection, and mitigation
- Ability to implement and manage comprehensive IT security measures
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Experience:
- 5+ years in IT management, focusing on infrastructure, system administration, and user support
Skills:
- Technical proficiency in IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and virtualization
- Security expertise in threat detection and mitigation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
