Job Overview:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an IT Applications Project Manager (f/m) to enhance our Aircraft Technical Data Department operations in Toulouse, France.

The mission of the Technical Data Department is to provide cutting-edge IT solutions that facilitate the digital transformation and optimize the operations of our airline clients.

As an IT Applications Project Manager, your role will involve spearheading IT solutions for the Customer Services department, with a primary focus on Aircraft Technical Data.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Grasp the nuances of Technical data authoring
  • Comprehend production requirements and strategic goals
  • Oversee the relevant IT Solutions Portfolio, utilizing both market-standard software and tailored solutions, including Cloud-based architectures
  • Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture and Airbus IT strategies and objectives.

Key Challenges:

  • Manage the applications portfolio, overseeing daily operations and incremental enhancements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, structure, and prioritize the requirements for new and improved services
  • Coordinate with the supply chain to organize delivery activities, from detailed specifications to development
  • Establish continuous collaboration methods and promote digital initiatives within the community
  • Lead the scoping process for applications, focusing on MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and future releases, ensuring consensus among stakeholders
  • Facilitate and contribute to the implementation of solutions
  • Monitor daily application issues, proposing corrections and enhancements
  • Contribute to or organize major project milestones in accordance with the IM Quality plan
  • Support the future of Technical Data within the Technical Data Modernization program

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Project Management, familiar with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Proficient in risk management and escalation processes
  • Innovative and creative problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous in capturing requirements and managing capabilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex information
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
  • Familiarity with Aircraft Technical Data/Documentation related to Maintenance and Engineering is advantageous
  • Fluency in French and English at an advanced level.

Salary Information:

Salary range based on the required profile: 60K€ to 70 K€/year (including a variable component based on performance). This information is provided as a guideline.
