At Volvo Group, we are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of sustainable transport solutions.

Job Summary

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for securing timely decisions and effective management of credit applications. You will provide the highest level of customer service to dealers, customers, and Volvo Group personnel, supporting Volvo Financial Services in becoming a world-class finance company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and decide/propose retail credit transactions within delegated authority
  • Make full assessments with potential customers, including visits to customers (business trips)
  • Prepare credit applications and present them to higher Credit Authorities
  • Perform at the highest quality levels and follow Volvo policies and routines
  • Follow Credit Directives, Policies, and guidelines to minimize risk, manage, and improve underwriting and portfolio quality
  • Interact with dealers, customers, Volvo Group Business Areas, and VFS Sales Department to negotiate loan and lease structuring, pricing, and collateral analysis requirements for transactions
  • Participate in review and negotiation of documentation with customers and Volvo Group departments
  • Perform all necessary administrative tasks linked to Credit activities
  • Assess and make proposals on "Contract change" (Credit SAV) applications
  • Perform all KYC&AML controls and keep updated the internal UBO database
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in economics or finance
  • Solid experience in credit risk analysis department oriented to asset financing (operating lease, financial lease, renting...)
  • At least 3/5 years of experience in vendor/captive finance leasing/captive business (preferably in any of automotive/transportation/construction sectors)
  • Very good financial understanding
  • Strong business understanding
Competencies and Skills
  • Thorough understanding of the business of VFS, the Volvo Group products, and the customers/dealers businesses
  • Good level of English (oral/written)
  • High communication and analytical skills
  • Very good team worker and results-oriented
  • High flexibility and engagement
  • Fast learner
