Transformative Data Architect Opportunity

Embark on a journey to shape the future of the Wine & Spirits industry with cutting-edge technology at Pernod Ricard's Global Tech team.

About the Role

The Data Architect will build and deploy relevant frameworks to ensure data is stored, moved, and managed in compliance with Pernod Ricard policies and standards.

  • Develop data architecture frameworks for specific tech/data products, adhering to global standards.
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of defined frameworks to meet current and future business needs.
  • Contribute to the identification of significant data assets for the enterprise and translate business requirements into data products.
  • Assess potential impacts and opportunities of product choices from a data architecture standpoint.
  • Coordinate with other Data/Tech Architects to secure consistency of architecture decisions within PR.
  • Promote global enterprise data strategy within the squad.
  • Provide data architecture best practices and bring forward new ways of thinking around data to improve outcomes.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical modeling, especially for rationalizing data objects.
  • Ability to collaborate with an understanding of architecture/integration concepts and principles.
  • Ability to define the value of the data asset to the enterprise.
  • Experience in advanced programming and administering databases.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to talk with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mastery of data governance and security guidelines.
  • Agile ways of working (collaboration, CD/CI).
