Ixora Conseil is seeking a seasoned Depot Manager to oversee the daily operations of its client's warehouse in Martinique. This permanent position requires a logistics expert with a strong background in food distribution.
Main Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Management: Ensure optimal organization of food goods flow from reception to shipment, guaranteeing quality service to customers.
- Team Supervision: Lead and motivate a dedicated team, implementing logistics procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Inventory Control: Manage product expiration dates with strict control and stock rotation procedures, ensuring product freshness and safety.
- Collaboration: Work closely with procurement teams to manage stocks and optimize storage space, considering food product specificities.
- Performance Indicators: Implement and track KPIs to ensure logistics operations efficiency.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in food distribution.
- Skills: Proven team management and project management skills, knowledge of warehouse management tools and software (WMS), excellent organizational and priority management abilities.
- Knowledge: HACCP standards and food safety regulations.
