About the Role
Sodiaal is seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Technologist to join our Innovation and Development of Brands team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accelerating the extension of our product ranges and contributing to the development of new products.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing physico-chemical properties of products (pH, color analysis, texture analysis, etc.)
- Managing and tracking ingredient stocks
- Coordinating and managing pilot tests in autonomy (fabrication and operation of installations: unpacking, packaging, assembly, etc.)
- Coordinating and managing tests in the factory in autonomy
- Updating databases with analytical results
- Formatting and interpreting results with formulation of recommendations
- Monitoring internal tastings and coordinating consumer tests
- Screening ingredients with suppliers, in liaison with purchasing
- Concurrent market monitoring
- Participating in the development of the brand strategy
- Updating documentation (quality documents, ingredient specifications, product specifications)
- Managing projects in autonomy and associated reporting
About the Team
You will be part of a dynamic team of around 20 people, working closely with the Development, Factory, and Business teams. You will have access to a pilot technology hall and an internal analytical laboratory, with opportunities for strong partnerships with external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in food technology, with at least 10 years of experience, ideally in product/R&D process development
- Knowledge of Ultra-Fresh is an asset
- Strong motivation for product development and formulation, with a passion for products, brands, customer, and consumer satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form strong partnerships with other functions
- Autonomy, reactivity, and a rigorous, organized, and analytical approach
- Proficiency in English
