As a member of our Global Lens Innovation Deployment team, you will play a key role in industrializing new processes, technologies, and products to deliver robust manufacturing solutions to our Rx Labs and Mass Production Plant. Your expertise will be essential in leading studies and projects in the field of marking to deliver solutions to our internal customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with upstream R&D studies to develop laser processes for myopia control, tinting, and other applications.
- Conduct techno watch of patents in partnership with our IP department to stay ahead of the curve in ophthalmic applications.
- Share laser expertise with manufacturing equipment teams across the group.
- Work with techno plan to build business cases and economics for laser process integration.
- Participate in industrial pilot projects and convey a vision to steer expertise and execute corresponding roadmaps.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for an engineer or PhD in physics or materials physics with 5 years of experience in laser applications and ideally laser surface texturing. The following skills will be valued and appreciated for this position: generic physics skills, laser/material interaction, system engineering knowledge, project management, and proficiency in English. French is a strong plus. Knowledge of Laser Femto will be appreciated.
This position is for someone who thrives in a transversal, collaborative, and international environment within a dynamic and innovative team.
