Service Presentation
The Dietary Service of the Bicêtre Hospital is attached to the Department of Care and Paramedical Activities and is part of the Rehabilitation Service. The Dietary Service covers all sectors of the CHU: Adult and Child MCO, SSR, HDJ and HDS, consultations, and reference centers for rare diseases.
We are a dynamic and young team with a strong team spirit and a patient-centered approach. The team consists of 22 dietitians: 14 in the adult sector and 8 in the pediatric sector.
Recruitment and Analysis of Patient Nutritional Needs
- Establish a dietary diagnosis, nutritional objectives, an action plan, menus, and a contract for the patient, based on the medical prescription
- Provide information, advice, and therapeutic education to the patient and their family
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Establish meal plans with the Dietary Service
- Manage dietary products in care units and record needs
- Verify and control products in food offices (expiration dates, refrigerator contents, vigilance on external food)
- Coordinate nutritional actions and information between services, patients, the Dietary Service, and the catering team
- Transmit written and oral information in the patient's electronic file to ensure traceability and follow-up of the dietary approach
- Implement, monitor, and control nutritional orientations defined by the Central CLAN, the GHU CLAN, and the Site CLAN (detection of malnutrition, SFNCM recommendations)
- Record data related to activity (dietary act coting)
- Stay up-to-date with professional developments
- Ensure continuity of nutritional care in the absence of colleagues in other services
Required Diploma and Grade
- BTS Dietetics or DUT Applied Biology, Dietetics option
- Strongly appreciated formation in patient therapeutic education
- Knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SRD Restauration and Orbis patient software
- In-depth knowledge of adult dietetics, eating behaviors, medical and scientific knowledge
- Operational knowledge of communication and aid, health education, quality, ethics, and deontology, general pedagogy
- General knowledge of psychology and public health
- Identify normal or pathological eating behaviors
- Evaluate the nutritional risk for an individual or a group
- Evaluate meal quality in the restaurant, practice quality, and results
- Design, coordinate, and implement nutrition education programs in the context of the establishment project and to promote patient autonomy and their entourage
- Develop and use dietary protocols and good practice guides
Working Hours
7:30 am - 8:30 am, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, or 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

General Information
The Bicêtre Hospital, located in the Kremlin-Bicêtre (94), combines expertise and proximity activities, caring for most pathologies, from maternity to acute geriatrics, and has psychiatrie universitaire and SMR specialized activities. It has adult and pediatric emergency services. It is recognized for the care of polytraumatized patients and participates in the large guard of neurosurgery. It also has a level 3 maternity and welcomes 36 reference centers for rare diseases.
