We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our team in France and Luxembourg, playing a crucial role in supporting the SD Worx business on various commercial matters. Reporting directly to our Director of Legal Business Partners, you will collaborate closely with other legal counsels in Belgium, Spain, and beyond.

Our dynamic and rapidly growing legal team provides proactive and practical legal support, advising the business on a wide range of commercial law, contract law, and IT law questions. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to implement strategic projects, driving business growth and impacting the company's success.

You will become part of a multinational legal team working across Belgium, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Mauritius, the UK, and Ireland. Our current corporate legal team consists of 22 expert lawyers in various areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice to internal stakeholders on various commercial matters, including risk analysis, project support, and negotiations.
  • Negotiate, draft, and review commercial agreements such as customer contracts, supplier agreements, and general terms and conditions.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and pragmatic legal advice, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Support the effective handling of claims and litigations with external experts/lawyers.
  • Create and update legal templates and best practices aligned with corporate guidelines.
  • Monitor new local legislation affecting our business and provide guidance accordingly.
  • Participate in Management Teams for France and Luxembourg, contributing to key decision-making processes.
  • Communicate and implement legal policies, templates, guidelines, and processes, providing training to internal stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement within the legal department.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in French, Luxembourg, or Belgian law, with knowledge of Spanish law being an asset.
  • 3+ years of experience as an attorney and/or in-house legal counsel, focusing on commercial law, contract law, and/or IT law.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with proficiency in French.
  • A business mindset, transforming complex legal concepts into actionable advice for non-legal professionals.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and contract drafting skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, combined with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and a hands-on mentality.
  • A team player with autonomy, integrity, professionalism, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary, ranging from €80,000 to €120,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
