Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Head of Compliance for our EMEA region. Reporting to the Global Chief Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all compliance-related matters within the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the regional compliance strategy in alignment with the company's global objectives.
- Work in partnership with other Regional Heads of Compliance to ensure strategy is consistently implemented in all regions.
- Provide strategic guidance on regulatory requirements and best practices across the EMEA region.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure the company's operations in EMEA adhere to all applicable regulations, laws, and guidelines.
- Support the local MLROs in engagement with regulatory authorities within the region.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, advising the business on potential impacts and necessary actions.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across the region.
- Oversee the development and implementation of compliance risk management frameworks.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory standards.
- Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures tailored to the EMEA region.
- Ensure consistent application and understanding of compliance policies across all regional offices.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of compliance professionals across the EMEA region.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the compliance team.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to integrate compliance considerations into business operations.
- Provide compliance-related training and support to employees across the region.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and industry associations.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, ensuring readiness for regulatory inspections.
