We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Donation Attendant. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in leading an exceptional customer and brand experience, promoting sales, and ensuring the efficient processing of donations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all donors and customers.
- Accurately label and process donations, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency in the production room and sales floor.
- Offer receipts to donors, regardless of donation size, and provide information on proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture and other items, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to PPM standards.
- Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily safety inspections on company-owned equipment and ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification class and operate equipment safely.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving shared goals and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
